So now Yahoo came out a beta version of their IM. GAIM has come out with a new release. But it's only a matter of time before MSN and AOL decide to add same functions as yahoo..and Gaim won't be able to catch up. And now ICQ Pro seems nice too. But I must admit this yahoo messenger is pretty nice. It seems they just changed it aesthetically, and tied in their yahoo radio(Launch), and yahoo search w/ the IM client. The one nice thing I like is now finally you can use an avatar. It would be better if we could create our own avatar, that would closely resemble ourselves, but I think it may not be too hard to make alterations. Now how long before yahoo and Microsoft tie their clients to a "social network" ie something like Friendster? I can see Friendster working closely w/ Yahoo, or Yahoo maybe buying them off. Microsoft will probably just buy some smaller end ones, and go from their.
The real question, How long before google comes out w/ and Instant Messenger service of their own? They already were planning to offer a 1GB email to everyone, so this would be the next logical step. Email is the number one "tool" used on the internet, next to search engines. But after that is practically instant messenging. Someone in google is definitely writing up an instant messenger, no doubt about it. I would be really surprised if their isn't a google software engineer(s) who isn't trying to come up w/ a good instant messenger that would compete w/ AIM, ICQ, Yahoo and MSN messenger. P2P real-time chat is starting to gain steam now, where it'll probably replace email very soon.

There is definitely some sort of mkt out there for instant messenging. Microsoft has adapted to it. Why do I have this weird feeling that Microsoft's release of Longhorn, will incorporate their search engine as well?

Change is good, adapting to that change is better. Instigating that change is best!

Ok, so I've been neglecting to "blog" everyday. But then again, I'm not one to write his thoughts down on a piece of paper, let alone post it on the net! Well I'm officially bored out of my mind. I don't have any idea what I want to do with my life. I thought I did, but now I don't. If I had chosen to gone into the medical line, and made an attempt to become a doctor, would I have been happy? I don't know. Now it seems money is something that I want...but yet I don't. What kind of life are we living here? Yeah I'm in one of those deep philosophical moods, ironically searching out for the meaning of life. What is our true purpose here, someone tell me what? A majority of US citizens want to help out the poor and needy, except when both dems and republicans want to use our money to help the underprividged, we all go into some public outrage. It's alright to use someone else's money, just not mine is our motto. I really hope that I am wrong about this, but the more I take a closer look, the more it gets closer to the truth.
Well I wanted to see Kill Bill Vol II, but now with this headache, will have to opt for this coming weekend.

Hmm...so I've neglected to add to Web log for the past few days. Well what can I say, from Friday to Monday I was out of town and in San Francisco. Why one may ask? Wedding. That's right my cousin, just got married!!! Holy Cow! Matt's a married man! So now I have another cousin-in-law. Geez being a groomsmen, for a fifth time. Two for cousins, two for friends and one for my mother's cousin. First time around I didn't know what I was doing. Second time around, because he needed someone. The third time, not sure. It's been debated that my brother and I were picked as groomsmen b/c she had two more from her side that were bridesmaid, and he needed someone. It's hard to say, but I like to think the best of it, and will say that he made us groomsmen because he wanted us to be groomsmen.
Now here's the thing, how in the world does a man during the ceremony miss a kiss, and try to kiss his bride on the cheek?!!! I don't know if he felt embarrassed or what, but GEEEZZZ!!!! Well anyways, things went of pretty good in my eyes. I guess the only concern I had, was that, well it was held on a sunday, when there was no following holiday. It seemed people were leaving pretty early from the wedding. I guess that was expected. Well there was another thing that irked me: Refridgerator magnets?!!! That's what you give off as a party favor for your wedding. Especially an Indian wedding?!!! Well at least there was something. So now all that awaits is for those that are pregnant to finally deliver.
::sigh:: what do I do know? I have no clue what I want to do with my life. I thought being in the position that I was, my future was kind of secure. Except now free trade, has my position being outsourced! And the government says, we'll retrain people. INTO DOING WHAT?!!! What can you retrain us in, that won't be outsourced?!!! Something in healthcare? What good will that do us? If everyone goes into healthcare, then you'll have a bunch of healthy people. Can they tell me what they can train me in. Better yet, can they tell me how they're gonna train those that over the age of 45 and who has kids in college? Will the government pay for the their kids tuition? Geez I have no idea what to do now. I really have no idea. Who knows, I might one day just wake up and realize what it is in the that moment.

Well I guess I should start with my euphisms now.

Those who master the art of deception, will in the end be decieved themselves.

And so the Mets win yesterday. An ugly win, but at least still a win.

Hmm...interesting notion that popped into my head while taking a shower. Nano-technology is basically being researched for several areas. And one of those areas is for the human body, specifically to heal the human body, ie attack virus' in the body. So if that is true, and let's say it's successful in 20-30 yrs from now...is it possible to program the "nanites" to stop the aging process? In theory it should, should it not? And if that's true, does that mean then that we have found our "fountain of youth"? Of course barring that we cut off head or drive a stake thru our heart. Hmmm....makes you wonder....

Ok, so the Mets failed to score a run yesterday. But fortunately it's still early in the season, and you have to believe. Just because I may be down on them, doesn't mean I still don't believe in them. They've done it before, they can keep doing it again.

Damn, Verizon's push-to-talk seems nice, now if they could only offer it as a family plan of at least two phones, then I would gladly buy it, but for now I guess I will have to stick w/ Cingular.

So it's Easter, and for the first time, I actually fulfilled my lental obligations for 40 days and nights. Now if I could only follow up on my New Year's resolution!

Arghh!!! No good Mets, it's almost no different from last year, and they're paying $83 million for a bunch of losers! Maybe they should start over, trade as many people they can, except for Reyes of course, and get as much prospects, especially pitching, as they can. I know I could wait 3-4 years, so long as it results in 10 straight years of winning the World Series.
Well I guess Met's fans tonight will find out how good Taylor Yates is. Better be worth it, demoting Seo to the minors.

Too early today for me to think and write something up...I guess I will have to wait for my brain to kick in. Well today is Holy Thursday, must remember to leave early to attend mass on time for a change.

Ah...so this is what blogging is all about. Hmm...if I'm too lazy to write my thoughts on a piece of paper, how am I gonna input it into this thing?!!!
